Cobalt Boats is a company that believes…

Cobalt was founded back in 1968 by Pack St. Clair, a former basketball star at Kansas University. Growing up in southeast Kansas, Pack had been boating since he was a child with his father on area lakes.

That affection for the water fueled his decision to convert his slide-making fiberglass company into a boat factory in the small town Chanute. Undeterred, he invested the family savings into a high end runabout, and hauled the first Cobalt to the West Coast. It’s that drive and determination that sets Colbalt apart from other boat manufactures. The company stresses ingenuity, pride in workmanship and small-town family values.

40 years later, Cobalt offers 20 models from 20-40 feet in length, and employs over 400 people in the landlocked town of Neodesha Kansas.
